how much electrolytes?

I got all my ducklings & goslings today, and they're doing great!

One thing I can't figure out is how much electrolytes to give them. I have the vitamins & electrolytes "plus". The package says that 1 4oz packet is good for 128 gallons. I have a 1 gallon waterer for them. I wanted to give them a little, so I put a 1/2tsp in when I first filled it this morning.

I can't seem to figure out how much I should give them. I'm a little sleep deprived, so my brain isn't working very well.

and why don't manufacturers put it on the label???

So I do just a little less than a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon.
