How much food per hen per day?

Thanks for all the great responses and info! I really appreciate it! This helps a lot so we can plan our expenses ahead of time!

We sell our eggs of $3/dz for friends and family. The love the blue and brown eggs!

We currently have 6 chickens that are 3-4 months old. We fill a 12" metal feeder which holds about 60 ounces of feed and they go through it in less than a day.

This weekend we will buy an extra feeder and extra waterer.

My fear is if we over feed, they will get fat and unproductive. If we under feed, they will have health issues and not produce eggs properly?
