I guess you need more wind and warmer weather. We are supposed to get up to the low 40's the next few days. Of course Mr. NOAA says it is currently 37°F but my thermometer says 30°F so that low 40's might be mid 30's.

No need to guess. Just get a big sack of all flock feed, 20% protein. It's practically identical to chick starter. You can feed new hatchlings all the way to point of lay and beyond. Just add oyster shell when the eggs start coming. These different formulas and labels are purposely confusing to get your to buy a lot of what you really don't need.

Brrrr....we are at almost 80 degrees here...I know it will come to an end soon and we will get some surprise cold weather in March like we always do!

Unfortunately for me Poulin doesn't have an "all flock". Their starter is 20% but crumbles, it would be more waste than food for the adults. Their grower/finisher is 15% but only comes in crumblets, ie 1/2 size pellets. Again, small and waste.
