How much for 6 month old RIRs for?

Great!!! They are Point of Lay or POL pullets. These actually generate MORE interest because people love the fact that they will lay their first eggs at their place. Frankly, I know of several folks who would love to get them for $12-$18 This is depending on the supply/demand of your area.

when I went to the swaps out here they were goin for 25 a piece... BO's were goin for 30.. well the roo's was anyway....

POL pullets go for $8- $12 here, lots of them for sale right now. Most people here want BO or GSL.

In the ATL, they go for $8 - 10. Sometimes less due to having chickens "may" or MAY NOT be legal. So the market changes depending on the motivation.

I payed $15 for mine. Given it was a "show" bird at the state fair. I think the guy said he normally sold them for $8-$10
