How much is a predator trap for a raccoon? (pics of what he did)

Prices will vary depending where you live of course. I paid $80. But we caught 3 raccoons. And who knows how many other critters it can catch in the future. I figure it was a good investment.
 
I borrowed my trap from Animal Control, he even delivered it with a can of cat food!!

Caught the racoon that killed my pet cat the very next night in it!!

You are lucky the racoon didn't pull your hen's heads off through the chicken wire. Chicken wire is USELESS for protecting chickens against predators! Put some hardware cloth or small wire fencing around the bottom of the pen and/or run a strand or two of hot wire around the perimeter. That will protect your chickies until you get a trap.

Or better yet, sit out tonight with a GUN!
 
stonger fence would be a money well spent, There is always another coon.
 
I think the farm right next to me has a trap. Maybe I could use theirs.
 
I say just go and buy you a .22 shell. Works great or find someone who has dogs that hunt coon works even better. They never come back
