How much is too much for Ameraucanas?

Actually, Ameraucanas are probably second only to the Marans in popularity, and they’re only getting more common. Easter Eggers were around first, so the Ameraucana technically owes its success to it.

I almost decided on Copper Marans as my dark brown layers but went Welsumer because I'm Dutch. I mean, I'm a euro mutt but my last name is Dutch haha

Also this breeder and everyone I emailed is NPIP and AI certified.

Never would I buy birds at or after a show. But I would try to get hatching eggs from at least three different breeders of winning birds, and start with three different blood lines.

I feel that. I'd probably hate them too but I was a sickly child so I got over that real quick.

Those 8 dollar birds are actually EEs. It's rather confusing, but if they're cheaply priced, it's not a pure Ameraucana

Cackle has true Ameraucanas. They even list their EEs separately. And have the color of Ameraucana listed. Not sure on quaillity though. I am getting 6 AMs from them this summer.
