Hi all. I’ve had my small flock for 17 weeks now. We didn’t know their exact ages, as the person we bought them for had the smaller ones ages 5wk-12wk together. Was curious if I attached pictures of anyone had any idea if their ages? That’s one thing I just haven’t been able to figure out yet.

attached are pictures of my Wyandotte from today, and then my Rhode Rock (I’m assuming the breed after researching quite a bit and narrowing down) from today versus maybe a week after we got her, so 16wk ago..

Any and all help is appreciated so much!!

Hi there. No guess as to age. Their combs will suddenly grow and turn red, then it won't be long and they'll begin to lay. You can already see changes coming on in your pics.
You can put out some oyster shell and open nest boxes if you haven't already.

No idea of the age. I can see that their combs are starting to redden, so laying should be soon. I've never heard of a Rhode Rock-is the second one an easter egger with that pea comb and beard? Neither plymouth rocks nor rhode island anythings have pea combs or muffs or beards.
