Try googling natural remedies for infection if you don't have any antibiotic on hand...or I may be way off the mark, but I remember reading someone giving monistat for an infection...I'll see if I can hunt that down for you.

Ok I'm sorry no monistat... that was for a case of sour crop. Like yeast infection in the crop.
i just read that I can give him Penacillan..we have that...now I have to read how much..it’s a shot in the breast bone....geez..scarey
 
You give penicillin in the fattest part of the breast muscle a 1/4 inch deep. Dosage (if you have procaine penicillin G,) is 1/4 ml (0.25 ml) once a day for 4-5 days. Alternate sides of breast daily. Shake well before using, and refrigerate.

yep, that’s what we have and that’s exactly what we did...I found instructions on a website from a BYC thread..also had a hypothermia set-up..and since he does seem chilled, I put him in the bin, just to be safe. Nothing to lose now...on the vet chart..it said for a bird who has a probable leg fracture....AND is emaceated , the chances of surviving are very low. He’s in Gods hands now.
