How much nutridrench is too much for Little Lou?

@casportpony would be a good one to ask. I have the baby bird food but haven't had to use it. I haven't had to tube feed yet. It may work. I think it's also the nutrients in the baby bird food that's beneficial too.

That's great Lil Lou has his head up. I really don't think that foot is causing his problem. It looks like it's in the ankle up? Maybe an injury? Or gout? another question for @casportpony
Ok...Walmart is 40 miles away...what would I do for gout? Ok..I’ll message @casportpony ..maybe see if amazon can ship overnight? And how much..my options are sooo limited. :(

Ok..ordered the food off Amazon!!!! Yeah!!! Will be here Wednesday! So..now I just need him to hold out..I think he will..he’s made it this long. I put him in his little cart, since I can watch him during the day and it can take the weight off the leg. I’m buying more feeding tubing today too, because it stretches out and slips off the syringe at the worst time. I think, even if it’s broke..he can still have a good quality of life..I’ve been watching a ton of videos about ducks healing without surgery...so, perhaps it’s wishful thinking..but prayers are working right now!!! Thank you ladies!

Maybe he got trampled or tripped? And this is an injury?
Right now I’m giving him ground up crumbles and soybean meal that I have for the goats. I was at a loss on Friday...read that ducks love soybeans...knew it has tons of nutrients and was the right consistency to get through the tube. That’s a huge factor..the blender only gets it so fine. Then it gets stuck in the tube, so, I think I’m getting more of a watery solution than I want. I wish I could grind up the BOSS. But I know that wouldn’t work.. I have beet pulp..but I don’t know if ducks want that.
He started limping when I put them in the barn in the evening after thanksgiving...but it could’ve happened during the night. Then the next day it was definitely worse and that’s when I started the soaks and separating him. It always looked like the joint was the issue...but a Bumblefoot would have been much easier. Every time I would soak and want to cut...Chris would stop me because he felt it just wasn’t that and I would make it worse. I gave him some canned cat food mixed with water right now...it’s a purée..he has no interest..going to tube him again...I like your new avatar...but every time you switch I don’t realize who you are!:)

Walmart sells some of the KayTee baby bird feed as well, so you might check there as well. If you ground up his usual feed in a blender with a lot of water, would that pass through your feeding tube?
Well, that’s what I’m doing..but it does get stuck..and, it seems like it’s mostly water...but, sometimes it has more color..it just is a guess each time. But he ate a few bites of kitten food!!
