How much nutridrench is too much for Little Lou?

Well, that’s what I’m doing..but it does get stuck..and, it seems like it’s mostly water...but, sometimes it has more color..it just is a guess each time. But he ate a few bites of kitten food!!

You may want to go ahead and order a tube feeding catheter, to make it easier for yourself. Even if he is better enough to not need tube feeding anymore by the time it arrives, you could have it on hand in case something should happen in the future.

I’m really not trying to be rude but as many issues as you are having all the time it might be best to cut down to a very small flock. Most newbies do accidentally over do it as first. We all have to learn and do what’s in the best interests of our flock sometimes...

I do understand what you are saying. The farm grew rather quickly and I admit I had no idea that so many drakes would cause such an issue. We are in the process of cutting back..and separating to a drake den as well. But as for Little Lou..he has always had health issues and that is why he’s my favorite.

i appreciate everyone’s input and really do listen carefully. That is why I am on here..to learn and care for every animal. But, yes, I did take in way too many rescue ducks. And apparently many of them had health issues I didn’t know of.
