How much should ducks eat?

My KCs probably eat a third of a pound of food each a day... I think its about 1.5 cups of flock raiser each.

That's probably about right, that's a pretty small bowl. Ducks are pigs with their food though and it has a tendency to end up as sludge in the bottom of the water bucket I always wonder how much I'm spending on stinky duck sludge that I'm throwing away!

When I had ducks... I would add that to my fermented feed.

My ducks are muscovy. I plan for 1 cup per day per bird. However, I fill the feeder for two to three days (meaning I put 12 cups in the feeder). So, they can eat what they want when they want. Some days they eat more and some days they eat less. I don't regulate it just fill the feeder when I see it is low. Right now they seem to be eating less as they are all moulting.
If your ducks aren't free ranging all of the time, I wouldn't take that into consideration when you think of their feed.
