How do you come up with a fair price. I think he should go to a breeder or show home but need to price him out first.
Here is a picture I took this morning, he is in a pen with some Buff's waiting to go to their new home, gives you an idea about his size. He is 5 months old, nice dark eye also.

Not very clear sorry about that

Any thoughts??
Also he is one of "Gordie's" birds.

I would say somewhere between ten to twenty dollars...thats my guess since I always given away my roos.

I'm interested in him, but as a pet, not for show. I see you have him up on craigslist for $25 - is he still available?

Katie

Price depends on where you are. There are some places you can't even give them away. Like here. No one wants a rooster. That is one reason I began putting them in my freezer.

Hi Katie,
Yes he is still available. Are you in the Upstate NY area?

wannabechickraiser, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I think he is a very good representation of the breed.

i have been looking for a breeder for my blue australorp project , but the set back is any out of state bird must have a npip or a health cert from a vet in your state to send it to the arizona state vet here. i would love to have him. shipping costs could be a factor too! but all that is certainly your call.

thank you
chet
