Hi all,
I have 2 bantams that have about 4m squares of space to roam and dig around on.
I keep a bowl of layers pellets inside their coop and throw about 2 handfuls of corn around their run every morning and also when I get home from work. I'll also throw in some bits of leftovers 2-3 times a week.
I have almost run out of my first big sack of corn whilst only having gotten through about 6 cups of pellets...! I average about one egg a day between them and the shells are firm and healthy looking.
Should I be cutting back on the other stuff to make sure they eat more pellets or should I just continue as I am, as long as they are healthy and laying eggs?
Thanks!
