Lace up boots with good ankle support can sometimes help! Do you walk on the inside of your foot or the outside?

Outside. I wear cowboy type of boots to riding so I can't lace it up. I will ask my instructor about it. Thanks!

If the soreness persists, there are offset and hinged stirrups that can help you be more comfortable. Some of them are uber pricey, but your lesson barn may have a pair that you can try.
