I don't know much about laying ability on Seramas guess they should be treated like regular chickens. My first serama pullet to start laying, Pearl, has been laying nearly every day since she started! I've heard people describe seramas as good layers, others not, so I'm guessing it comes down to the individual bird. My other serama pullet Della laid her first egg the other day so I'm waiting to see how she compares to Pearl.
I have been eating them, they're delicious! I find that 3 or so of Pearl's eggs amount to one "large" size grocery store chicken egg, as opposed to the 5 to 1 ratio I always hear.I don't know much about laying ability on Seramas guess they should be treated like regular chickens.
Are you going to eat there eggs?
