How Much Should Seramas Lay...?

Btw, at 6 or 7 weeks with the Serama chicks, I heard one of them trying to crow, it sounded like a scream, lol.

No.
He grabs half-heartedly at her feathers first thing in the morning and she runs of, but he never actually mounts her.
Sad, because she'd make a great mamma.

Give it time, I notice most roosters need 2 to 3 months to get there act together. But in spring it should really get them going, warm air, more light.

Give me a day to get it done I don't mind showing off my chicks. It's already getting dark and I prefer taking pictures with natural light.

My first serama pullet to start laying, Pearl, has been laying nearly every day since she started! I've heard people describe seramas as good layers, others not, so I'm guessing it comes down to the individual bird. My other serama pullet Della laid her first egg the other day so I'm waiting to see how she compares to Pearl.

I don't know much about laying ability on Seramas guess they should be treated like regular chickens.
Are you going to eat there eggs?

I have been eating them, they're delicious! I find that 3 or so of Pearl's eggs amount to one "large" size grocery store chicken egg, as opposed to the 5 to 1 ratio I always hear.
