how much space in brooder per chick?

I know whaat an adult chicken requires but how much does a chick require?

I think it's about 1 sq ft per chick!!

The first 7-10 days you can go with half a square foot per chick. Then you will need 1 square foot per chick. The more you can manage the better.

Obviously, bantams take less space for a longer time.
