How much time do you spend with your chickens?

How much time do you typically spend with your chickens just to hang out with them per day?

I usually spend from 2 to 3 hours, throughout the day, just sitting around watching them. Is it possible to spend too much time with chickens?

Some of them spend too much time with me! I have like 15 shadows. I am mother goose but have to tip toe sometimes to catch a break!

I love my girls and spend a couple of hours or so throughout the day with them also. I just sit in the run with them and talk to them. I'm hoping one day they'll actually let me pick them up without them thinking I'm going to kill them!

I also spend a few hours a day with them. I talk and feed them goodies and just watch their crazy behavior. I find them very calming with the little chicken noises they make.

I do some days, a cup of coffee and a pause in the day. But not every day, not huge amounts of time. They are a destressor for me.

I probably spend an hour or two a day with them, on average, but not all at one time. Most of that time is spent feeding, cleaning and checking waterers, but I also like to just watch them. I hung a hammock outside of their yard to watch them from, and they also follow me to the barn when I tend to the horses. Right now I'm spending more time than usual because I have 8 new chicks out there!

I spend about 2-3 hours now that I am not working.
Chores feeding in the am, then I take them ou to the front yard one and off during the day. They have to be supervised out there.
Today not much at all other then feeding as it was heavy rain all day.
Does it count that I watched them every 1/2 hr form the window ??
