M-F only about 30 minutes a day after work. On weekends 2-3 hours a day.
That's fantastic!

Yes.....this is what I should have explained. Actual work is maybe 5 minutes. During the work week my unwind time is letting them out into the yard and then sitting on the porch while they range around. Weekends I spend time in the yard.....working, playing with the dog and, lately, studying work stuff (my flock is well versed in dementia, caregiver support and now diabetes self management lol)It varies for me. If I am out in the gardens for heavy maintenance I spend the whole day with them. Other times it averages to about 45 minutes a day. Most of the time with them is just enjoying them. It only takes a few minutes to feed, water and clean.

I always check them over in the morning, feed/water them & give them a breakfast slice of homemade herb & seed cake. I get home from work at 1:30 & am in & out of the yard the rest of the day with them. When I get home from work they hear me & start squawking for their daily dose of romaine lettuce. Imy girls & enjoy their company.
