put some honey in water and give her 2,5 ml 5-6x a day. you can put a drop of acv as well. don't give her too much water at once. I have been doing that for years with my sick chickens. some live some die.

So I took the advice of a couple people in this group and I finally took the plunge! I'm tube feeding my hen and she was able to take 60 ml of formula all at once! The tube actually came overnight with the 60 ml syringe from Amazon.

3.89 lbs. I think she was 3.67 lbs when we started

3.89. she gained 0.13 lbs in two days. Better than losing. We just started tube feeding today. I'm sure she will do much better now!

Great news!

Just a tip - when weighing your bird, weigh them first thing every morning on an empty crop. That way you're getting a true weight without fluctuations.

So proud of you for conquering tube feeding!! I'm sure your sweet hen will thank you, too.
