How much?

How much would you sell mixed breed chicks for? We have several ages.

For just hatched chicks we saw people at the swaps selling them for 1.50 for bulk, 2.50 each. They were higher if they were older and pullets. So the month olds were like 3-4 bucks and the ones little older then that were 5 each. They say the price goes up depending on how much feed you have put into them.

In Michigan, I paid 50 cents each for mixes, but I think the farmer was hatching them for fun. He had 150 when I got my 8 - I was only going to get 2 - Chicken Math, you know

I know how you feel. We were supposed to pick up two for my girlfriends friend. Came home with 20. Naked necks, buff orps, silver pheonixs, mutts, ameruacaunas and olive eggers lol.

Mine are 3 weeks old...almost 4. When I see what I have, I may have to go back. Of course, I also want some polish, etc. Maybe on CL?
