How often do you Wash yourself?

I only have 4 pages.

I'm looking at 9 pages now,lol

Me? Everyday even if it's a quick rinse off. My Pop used to shut the hot water off on us if we went more than 5 minutes. I shower, shave my legs and wash my hair in under 5min, lol

I take a shower every day. When the summer temperatures soar into the nineties, I'll take a cool shower in the afternoon/evening to cool off. Hands are washed every time after using the bathroom. It completely grosses me out when I see people leave a restroom without washing their hands!

I'll also wash my hands after doing any tasks where they get soiled- Cleaning the litter boxes, scraping the poop board, etc. I don't feel the need to wash after simply petting any of my animals though. Other people's animals, perhaps. This is more about the people the animals live with than the animals themselves though.

I will usually use hand sanitizer after shopping. as any objects I may have touched, have been touched by others. Some of these "others" may be the folks I saw leaving public restrooms on earlier occasions.

I use hand sanitizer in OCD proportions when at work. I'm a substitute teacher. After seeing the places some kids stick their fingers and then touch everything else around them, I'm surprised all school materials aren't covered in green fuzz and walking around of their own volition. I will however, happily share a popsicle with my dog and in my own home, the 3 second rule applies to any (non wet) food items that falls on the floor.

You aren't kidding!! I've worked from Preschool through High School and it doesn't change with grade or economic level. Kids are gross!!!

ETA--sometimes in the summer I'll hose off outside before taking a shower just to cool off.

This will probably sound extreme to even the every-other-dayers, but I'm honest about it if anyone ever asks.

I take a bath once every 1 1/2 to two weeks, a nice long soak, wash everything with hot water and my hair with shampoo/conditioner. Every third day I shave my legs in a shallow bath, and every day I take a washcloth with warm water and wash my face and all the hot spots in order of dirtiness: face, under arms, creases( belly button etc), privates and use a separate cloth for my feet which also get rinsed several times a day since I go barefoot most the time. I wash my hands with anti-bacterial soap up to the elbows and rinse thoroughly, for all the usual stuff: animal cleaning, before during and after cooking, before and after the bathroom and every 30 min at work...

I have extreme chronic eczema, anything with fragrance and soap in general dry my skin to the point of being painful, so I only use it on my hands and hair. On top of that I have extremely dry skin and don't retain water or sweat correctly. Some people can only go 12 or 18 or 24 hours without feeling greasy, after 2 weeks my hair only begins to feel like it may need to be washed since its so dry. I work with animals in a pet store and have lots of animals at home, namely reptiles and chickens, so the hands get washed A LOT. I also scrub the fish tanks at work every day, and having dish pan hands means your hands crack, which means there are bacterial diseases fish carry that have to be addressed.

I have "chicken shoes" and clothes, and work clothes that don't enter my home and visa verse. I started getting eczema when I was 15, before then I washed every day or other day like most people do, as I learned more about what my tolerances were and my skin in general, I went through several years looking like a leper before I found out what caused my flair ups.

Just offering up the other end of the extreme mostly, Other then the extreme anti-smoking nose twice in the last ten years, I have never once been told I stink.

bath in the morning (gotta get these old bones loosened up) and a shower in the PM that is more of a quick rinse. I wash before and after every bathroom trip, and if at work depending on getting flux or mold release on me more often

Apparently not many of us are like my family...we bathe often enough and wash our hands before eating, after the restroom, and when they are dirty...and we bathe a few times a week. In the winter it may be 2 or 3 times a week. We're not greasy, nor stinky. If it's hot out, we might shower more.

pffft...have an immune system and no point in wasting water....
