How often should I give my chicks electrolytes please respond!

I got electrolytes and do not know how often to give it to them also we have a small waterer and this each pack is for a gallon how can I make this work?

Only if they're not doing well, not all the time.
Do math for the dilution.

For the 1rst week I used 1/2 of an 1/8th teaspn per qt. then stopped.

I agree with @nuthatched. Only if they are struggling. Plain water is best. sometimes in the summer I give the hens electrolytes but also plain water

Measure out an appropriate amount for the size of waterer you have (1/4 packet for 1/4 gallon, for example). Mix a fresh batch each day. I would only give for the first 48 hours or so, after that, if the chicks are all acting normally you should discontinue it.
