How old do you think they are?

So cute, and I believe it! Our little dom is the most out-going chick in our flock - she'll walk right into your hand and let you pick her up if you offer your hand to her palm up.

They're adorable! My Dominique was definitely the sweetheart of the brooder box and is a tripping hazard now.

HOWEVER, I also have to say for the folks with "unfriendly chicks" that now that they're adolescents, they're all friendly when I have treats. My Speckled Sussex will walk around the grass at my feet catching the bugs I stir up and she was a "don't touch me" chick. My biggest spaz EE still acts afraid but likes to be held once I grab her. So, don't give up hope that your youngsters will be friendly later!

Love the little burrito-wrapped Dom photo!

Good to hear that the spazzy little chicks I have might be friendlier later. It's frustrating to work so hard on their behalf and then be treated like a monster! Reminds me too much of having teenagers...

My Dom likes to be scooped up and will just stay in my hand, legs dangling, like a feathery blob and will fall asleep. She cracks me up.

My 2 EE's are so different from each other. My darker one is one of the first to come running and likes to get tangled in my hair. The other one screams and runs away whenever I come near BUT, when she flies out of the brooder, she'll snuggle down on the top of my hand (not in the palm). Totally sweet weirdos. I love them!

My least friendly are my Buff Orp and my Speckled Sussex. Neither particularly like to be held. I'd say that all 5 are the friendliest of all when I'm sitting with them with a pile of freeze dried mealworms on my leg.
