I was a been a member of BYC for about two years before Rob bought the name and people began transferring over to this platform. Not all came over and kept the old group going for a time. I'm not sure how many were there and are still here who would remember. It was not the thriving place it is now, not by a long shot! I joined before I even got chickens, which we did in January 2005. I don't know how long it existed before I joined. It has gone through a lot of changes in the last 20 years I've been here, but has only grown exponentially every year.

Has it really been that long? Wow! I joined the old BYC EZ Board in around 2003 when the idea of raising ducks got into my head. I remember when Rob joined. So eager to learn and look where he is now! BYC has grown so much and changed so much and has only gotten better!
