Around May 2017 I adopted or "rescued" a hen from a property close to one of mine. The property where she was left was overgrown with grass and there was no care or maintenance for her. I brought her home to where I live and I am unsure about her age. The previous owner of her told me she started laying eggs in December of 2016. I assume she did so at about 4 to 6 months old but I'm not for sure if this information is accurate. I know she is an older hen because of her behavior and pecking order. She happily lives with me and the rest of my flock and I am so glad I took her in.

What exactly is poor quality supposed to mean?
a low standard of that certain breed that isn't bred for showing and most likely just for egg production, If you were to ever show her as a Leghorn she wouldn't have much of a chance to win anything. Although i'm almost positive your girl isn't a White leghorn but an Austra white.
