How old is your oldest duck?

Oldest Will be 2 next March. Just started into ducks last year

My oldest duck is Ruth Ann my muscovy she will be 15 next Feb. Then my 4 other Muscovy, drake and 2 females are 10 and their dd is 9.

How do you do it? That's amazing!

We have two rouen hens that are twelve and really showing their age now. A third hen and drake died four or five years ago.

Thank you for replying to this thread! It’s so wonderful to hear that there are Rouens out there living good long lives! Can I ask what you feed and if you have any other secrets in regards to increasing their longevity (supplements, etc.)?

Gulp. Well, we just throw them a few handfulls of whole corn every day. They have a pond and garden full of vegetation, small fish and bugs so they could probbly get along fine without us..

My oldest is 3ish, the drake. The oldest girls are a year now and I have a few that were just hatched last summer

Our duck Alice is the last of 7, she is a white Pekin type and is 13 years old. She is looking every inch of her age and we don't think she has long left. We think her secret is she is quite feisty (she competed with our male for food and took over the flock when he died)! She has never laid many eggs and that may have saved some energy.

too, her legs are getting weak though.

My last remaining duck, a welsh harlequin, is 10 this year. Her best friend, the blue runner was taken by something last week when they didn't go into their house for bed before the door closed and I didn't notice.
