I thought it was 6 months like chickens and other poultry, but i didn't really look. Wasn't conserend. But my pekin are a little over 3months and they were definatly mating. When they were little i always thought 2 boys 2 girls and i think i was right. peach for sure male and tibble and trouble def. female. Dont no about squirt he can't walk good but in the water he was acting like male. But i was suprised aren't they too young??

They will mate for a while before the females will lay eggs. Depending on breeds- they can lay as early as 18 weeks old, but some of the more seasonal layers may not lay until the spring after they were hatched.
