My first pregnancy at 22 was awful--I had really bad doctors, a misplaced epidural, and no support from the nurses or my family. The second at 28 was a piece of cake--great docs, no epidural, and wonderful support from hospital and friends. I wish now I had had more children. Mine are now 23 and 16 and both are great children. I think a child at any age is a blessing, if you are old enough and mature enough to be a responsible parent.

I was 28 when I had my youngest, but my mom was 41 1/2 when she had her last one!!

I don't think it matters how you feel right after you have them. Imagine what it will be like to deal with teenagers while going through menopause.

My mother gave birth at 19 and adopted me when she was almost 32. My daughter is the same age and I think she is quite young. However, Mom always said that having children is for the young. That I wore her out much more than my brother. Lucky for her, I was an easy teenager. I think she would have had a hard time if she had been 40-50 when he was a teenager. A wonderful adult - he was every parents' teenage nightmare.

I was just a month shy of 26 with my first and I was 30 when I had my second. I'm 41 now and happy in many ways that I'll be a young grandma. I may change my mind though when it actually happens!

With my first baby I was 2 weeks shy of my 26th birthday, my second baby I had when I was almost 31, and we just adopted our third, a baby. I am 37 1/2.

After 4 M/C's the blessing of a child takes away any worries of a long labor, morning sickness or teens during menopause. I get to re-live my childhood through my daughter's eyes now and it's amazing.

I was 16 when I had my first (and only) child. He will be 5 this August! Being a teen pregnancy I did not like all the statistics that people thought I would become, so I must say I am proud of myself because I just graduated Nursing School and have a healthy child and I am pretty healthy myself, couldn't be happier...So if you are young and find yourself pregnant and want to keep it, please make the right choices by staying in school and going on the college for a career, in the end it will benefit your beautiful child.... Ok, I am done...just had to say that.
