How old??

I am new to raising chickens and need people
Who have a few years of raising chickens. So what
my question is, is it better/easier to get chickens when
Their just chicks or hens? I defiantly know I don't

It depends on what you're set up is. Do you have the means to raise chicks? I think it can be very rewarding to raise them from a chick. They grow so fast so you have to enjoy every minute you can. If you don't want to measure heat and wait as long to get those first eggs I recommend hens or started pullets. They can be just as rewarding though it may take them a bit longer to adjust to you.
