How Resilient Are Chickens with Smoke Inhalation?

Its Hazardous in Butte County. My parents are taking care of my chickens as I'm in Washington.

What type of waterer do you have?

I have several plastic waterers with the tray on the bottom, but have been changing almost daily.

None of my girls are showing obvious respiratory symptoms, but Bridge has swollen sinuses last weekend, and today I could SEE Bagheera’s sinuses puff in and out as she breathed. And Buttercup had a very slight wheeze. Nobody is breathing with an open beak. I’d say so far, so good for the most part.

My BO was open beak a bit today. Freaked me out. I took her inside for a while and toweled off her face. I put an air purifier in the coop and locked 'em all in there this afternoon. When I put them to bed this evening, all were breathing fine.

The air quality is a little better here today. I hope it's clear enough tomorrow to let them free range. They threw fits today when I didn't let them out. Gotta dole out the tough love, though....
