I MAKE mine stay broody by putting them in a cage with the nest, They have no choice but to stay put ! mean, maybe but works for me

She has been locked in with her eggs, but when the switch clicks off with her, she just stands up and paces or sits beside the eggs.

I even (FINALLY) broke Floozy!

Concrete floor, no nest, no bedding. Any uncomfortable environment for a broody. A wire cage would work well, too. It only takes 3 - 4 days, though I left mine for 5.
