How should I best deal with frostbite case?

I'm not sure if it's infected, I would apply more vaseline and and maybe keep him inside if it gets any worse and in the future maybe get breeds with smaller combs to help deal with the cold winter months.
Sorry I can't be any more help :)

No that was helpful! Thank you. I have yet another problem- I just put on a triple antibiotic onto his comb, but the other hens keep trying to eat it. I'm pretty sure they can't have that stuff so I'm not sure what to do. Should I try and separate them? Would BluKote help at all?

Separation would always help but BluKote would help because it would change the colour to stop the hens picking however I'm not sure it would mix well with the antibiotic, quite frankly unless it's gets even worse I wouldn't add the triple antibiotic for the reason of the hens.

Don't panic, the frostbite damage seems to get or look worse before it looks better. Remember it takes weeks for them to recover. To give you hope, I took pics today of our boys. I did nothing more than applying some bag balm right after the incident occurred, they are healing well.

Rocco's wattles were bad enough that they where pretty swollen for two days after the damage.

It has been just about a month since they got frost bite. You don't need to separate him if he is eating and drinking and not being picked on. I would use bag balm on cold nights to keep any further damage from happening. If he continues to be shivering bring him inside I a dog kennel for a couple hours and the. Put him back outside.i also fed warm whole oats and scrambled eggs in the am with coconut oil added I to the mix. It is great for the skin in general and has a lot of omegas. Then just monitor, they do not look infected but I am no vet. Again the damage looks worse the week after but then will eventually look more healthy. Notice how black on of the tips of Rocco's comb was and now I think he lost a small portion of the trip but is fine.
