How smart are your chickens?

Hi there!

I'm extremely interested to hear about how cunning or devious your chickens are. I am trying to learn as much as I can about my new hobby, and any examples of extreme intelligence in these birds would be fantastic to read...

I would say my chickens are super smart! or a few of them are!!! Two of my girls know how to get out of their fenced in area! Sometimes they fly over, other times they find a crack and they sneak out! These two chickens are super smart and know not to go into my garden too!!! If any other chickens get out, they go right into the garden! But not Buffy and Mo. They just wander about roaming the yard! One of my other girls, Hennie, knows to lift the handle on their feeder so it slams on the side of the bucket and shakes the feed so more comes out. It always amazes me when they figure out something new!
