I have a new group of eight Coturnix quail. I know I have at least two males, by way of feather sexing, but there may be more. They are about 5 1/2 weeks old.
I have one adult male already, and I've heard him crow before, but he's been fairly quiet over the last couple of months. I've noticed a lot more crowing in the last day or two, and was curious if the new males may be cranking up, unless the old guy decided he wants to make some noise.
The adult is on the ground, inside a coop, where the others are in a hutch, within the same coop. So, they are together, but separated.
