How Sweet a Rooster can be: Post your pictures of your Roo at his sweetest too...

Here's a pic of one of my RIR's cuddling with a previous Delaware roo I had.  :cool:


Was your rir high hen when this picture was taken? I find my high hens like to be roosted next to Roger if they can arrange it. And he seems to prefer the higher girls over the lower ones too when it comes to roosting time. Great pic and fun to see them hunkered down together.
 
I don't have a picture but yesterday my sweet bantam roo was putting on a show, showing the copper marans pullets where the nest box was, rolling the egg that was in there, and so on. Later in the day one the marans laid her first egg. How did he know it was time? It was sooo cute though.

He sleeps in the garage so he's handled 2 times a day. The few times I've had to catch one of the less friendly hens (who make a fuss) he's gotten very alarmed but never attacked me even when the hen was yelling like she was about to be eaten.
