How tall are standard Pearl White Leghorns and R.I. reds?

Another newbie question. We know chickens range in height from 8' to 18". Our coop design calls for the chickens to be able to walk under both the Nest Box Module and the conspicuously higher perch. The question is how much space do we leave between the floor and the base of the NBM? So just how tall are these breed likely to be with their heads proudly upright.

Keep in mind that if they need to, they will duck their heads to walk under something. For a standard RIR, 12-18" would work.

I think the roost in our reach-in coop is about 14-16" high...
