I haven't been on this forum in a long time! The last question I posted was to see if I had a little hen or a roo, and everyone was convinced it was a roo! But she's bigger now and I'm pretty sure she's a hen. :) I noticed on my first post I had put together a little time lapse of how she was growing, so I thought it would be neat to see an updated one and show you and my family. So here it is :) I believe she's a buff orpington. She's grown into a very sweet lap chicken. She's not afraid to kick *** either lol, if my big kitties venture too near her area she'll chase them and try karate kicking them... they know who's boss ;)

By the way, sorry for the picture overload! I wanted to squish in as many as I can! :)

Today this morning :)

I never expected to own a chicken, but God sent her as a gift to me! At first we were just gonna raise her until she can be with other chickens, but we grew so close and attached that we couldn't give her up! I'm so glad she found her way to my neighborhood, wherever she came from. It's a miracle none of the neighborhood cats ate her. I love my chicken! :D

You have a very cute bird! You're correct that you have a Buff Orpington, but he is a rooster not a hen. This is because I see saddle feathers (pointy, longer feathers near the tail) and darker coloring on the wings.

SHE turned out to be a HE, I should listen to you all more often haha. Sad that I have to rehome him, but for now we're gonna keep him until he gets unbearably loud. Thanks for checking him out :)

Really beautiful! Thanks for sharing all of those pictures. I love to see how chicks grow up to be gorgeous hens or roos. (I'm partial to the roos).
