hEY YALL I'LL BE VISITING MY UNCLE IN LINCOLN NE AND I PLANT TO SEE IF I CAN GETR SOM,E EGGS TO CARRY BACK AT THE END OF THE WEEK FOR WHEN I COME BACK. WHATS THE PROPER WAY TO BRING THEM BACK INA SUITCASE OR CARRY ON. WHAT DO U SUGGEST. ( PS I CANNOT GET THEM IN THE MAIL BEACAUSE IT TAKES 17 DAYS FOR EGGS TO GET HERE PRIORITY MAIL )

The flock has to be tested and you would have to get an export permit for the to legally leave the country. Then you would have to find out what your country's import policies are; otherwise you would be smuggling them in.

Well I wouldn't put them in the suit case, Watching them load and unload the plane is enough to know that. I guess carry-on? I never traveled with eggs.

If you try to take them as carry on they will empty the eggs. No liqiuds allowed and that includes eggs.

If you manage to slip them past in a suit case then you might get lucky, but I doupt they would survive the flight in a cargo hold.

Not to mention that taking eggs out of the country, even to the bahamas, will get you into lots of trouble without the proper permits, vet papers, and export quarenteen.

what if i striofam rapped them and secure packaged them and pu them in the suit case. I'd have aslo to check the policies.

I say... it is just not worth it. Sticking eggs in your suitcase... smuggling them and maybe breaking the law... you could really get yourself into bit trouble. Contact customs... find out if and how you can legally bring eggs back with you.
Then again... maybe I'm just a chicken... ha... sorry... couldn't help it!

good point will dpo . i'll call right now.

I'd think taking them as carry on is the only way you'd safely get them home. However, as someone mentioned, liquid isn't allowed so that probably includes eggs. Unless you get the proper permits and such. Perhaps with the right paperwork, you would be allowed to carry them on. If you can. I'd wrap them up tight in bubble wrap (each individual egg) and then place them in a small box with lots of bubble wrap and soft packaging. Carry it on the plane with you (if allowed with the right paperwork) and keep it in your lap. Do NOT put it into the overhead ben. If the box is small enough, it can fit underneath your seat.
