How to catch those quick birds?

Hi all,
I know someone knows the answer to my question. I need to buy one of those nice, long-handled chicken catching nets/hoops. What are they really called, and where to get the best price? I work for a vet clinic but they couldn't find one, likely because I don't know what they're actually called! I know someone here will know the "official" name for this tool.

I have used both the fishnet and the chicken hook. The hook is much less disruptive, much less frightening and much quicker to catch a bird. The fish net will catch them, but is scares the bejabbers out of them, and unless you get it right, the whole flock thinks it has been attacked by an aerial predator.

Where as with the hook, you just reach out slow, snag a bird, and the bird is in your arms so fast, the first time I nearly dropped him, as I was not expecting it to work that well or quick.

Can easily make a chicken hook out of a bent coat hanger.

We have a homemade one but the link I provided above is basically the same deal.. Toss some feed on the pre placed on the ground hook tool and MAKES SHORT TIME.. no playing games..

I prefer to wait until they have gone to bed of an evening and pluck them off the roost like grapes off a vine. Easier on them and me both.

Personally our chickens are tame enough we can pick them right up. A few we have to get them kinda cornered. But still use to being picked up
