How to check humidity? First Time Incubation

I don't understand how to check you humidity? We put 6 eggs in the bator on monday,5 eggs tuesday, and 7 today. We also filled the water holders up on monday and on wednesday. This is also my first incubation process. The incubator is a LG and has stayed at 99.5 to 100 degrees. The eggs are also in an automatic egg turner. Any more help with my incubation would be greatly appreciated.

Most people use a hydrometer. You can buy this at Wal-mart.

It's a hygrometer and you need to calibrate it.

Definitely calibrate it.

I've been doing mine and the second time through it looks like mine consistently reads four points low.
