Six chicks went off to their new home, leaving the two my son chose, and.....

Number 1, who was the lightest color of the bunch. I figured since my two 5 week old EEs are feathering out pretty dark, it might be fun to have a totally different color (they were both chipmunk chicks), and, to no one’s surprise...

Darling Derp, as she will be called, who rallied overnight and is now holding her own with the rest of the crew.
