I prefer the second one.. He is beautiful! The top one is nice but I do not like the bits of brown on him. IMO one rooster for a flock is perfect (unless you have hens to go around) and unless I am breeding some amazing lines I don't keep a justincase. If something did happen to my rooster there are so many roosters for sale and people love giving you ones that aren't dinner. Plus I hate too many wake up calls
