How to clean ducks/waterfowl for Show

I have to clean my ducks for a Show today and I’m just wondering what you guys do to get the best out of your birds, Thanks

If you just give them nice fresh water won't that do the job?

You never want to bathe waterfowl. To clean them for a show just give them fresh batheing water.

Let them swim around in a "pond" for a bit, kiddie pools work good

I washed them since I didn’t have any extra pools to use for them available. I mainly had to clean their legs and bill since it always rains before Show and they get dirty. I just used water to clean them.

Sometimes if they have something stuck they can't get off in the water, try and get it off with a tooth brush (be gentle) or wipe of some kind

I used my fingers to get the dirt off their legs and bill, I’m carful not to hurt them.
