How to clean the blood of my rooster?

Hi all
I’ve got a australorp x New Hampshire rooster, was attacked by birds 5 days ago. They cut his comb which I put honey on. But he’s got blood on his head down to his wings. How can I clean it?! He cleaned a bit himself, did a half good job on his shoulders also considering he can’t reach his neck and head.

Here is winter, I’m afraid he gets sick if I make him too wet?

I put my chickens in a kind of large plastic washtub, clean them up, then towel them as dry as possible and then use the hairdryer to get them really dry

Rub him dry, or blow dry him afterwards.
