you may have a virus already infected in you computer and it is getting triggered by a word or code in the thread. sometimes the anti-virus software doesn't always work to stop stuff getting through. updating it is always a good idea.

my dh just did this for a friend who had some major issues with trojans that had hijacked her pc, and she had AV running on hers. had to remove all the stuff the geeksquad had freshly dumped onto her pc that never did the trick.

SS, I got your report. I didn't get anything when I opened the thread, so maybe you can do a virus scan of your PC and let me know either here or by PM what you find.

When I opened the link, my antivirus software immediately popped up saying it detected a Trojan. It's probably in a picture.

I think its just post #6 all of the pics in that post are gone and they are the ones norton was fussing about.

Have you tried the "Forgot Password" option right under sign in to reset your password? That may be the easiest solution for you.
