How to cook for a chick?

I have heard to feed chicks hard boiled eggs, smashed. My husband says shells on, some places say yokes only. HELP! Water recipes too. How much sugar, apple cider vinegar, etc to how much water? Ratios please))

Why would you cook for chicks? No chick feed? If no chick feed you can just feed them some scrambled eggs or some corn meal and a little plain yogurt until you can get chick starter. Just a tsp. or so of apple cider vinegar per chick waterer.
