How to cool down peachicks

I'm in Texas and this is like day 700 on Triple digits.Today is 104, I am checking on my peachicks I have them in a temporary rabbit crate it's under my porch, and that crate is on top of the other crate where I have older peachicks. I have the ceiling fan on and it's just so hot outside. I see them with their beaks open. Is there anything else I can do so they don't feel so hot. Today is day 1 for them to be outside so I'm pretty sure they need to adjust themselves to this heat we have. The older peachicks are fine they have been out here for a month.

you can mist them with lukewarm NOT COLD water or give them a tray with a little bit of water that they can stand in but not drown in.

Good ventilation is always important but especially during the heat of summer. We use automatic fans in our nursery and brooder house but in the playpens and flights, they only have open air and plenty of shade. I have rigged up some misting nozzles in a few of our breeding pens but have found that they are not necessary.
