How to deter bobcats?

Thank you all for the information and comments! In response to one of you...nothing was left of the chickens other than a few feathers and some blood caught on the fence. The hens were small...only 8 months old. I am going to look into traps because I am so curious as to what took my hens!! I don't think we have foxes and I know we have bobcats because I've spotted them. We've lived here for 26 years and had chickens when we first moved here with no troubles! I recently retired from teaching and wanted to go back to raising chickens for fun - I love 'em!
