How to determine the sex of a chicken???

I've heard of turning them upside down and tried it at about a week old. It worked for me 100% I have 3 roosters and 4 hens. My cousin has been raising chickens for years now and he has done this with fantastic results and no injuries. Just in case, as soon as they start to right themselves gently help them so they dont get hurt.

I havent heard of holding by their feet, but a lady who raises RIR's told me to gently hold them by their neck and do the same she says it works 99% of the time. worked on my hen. I now have 5 dominique chicks I think by the head spots and feet color I have 3 hens and 2 roo's I will try this method and see if I am right

Do you have any pictures you can post. Many breeds are hard to tell.
