i did use the 'i would really like a blah blah blah'.


guess what? no, really, guess what???

the DH says, 'then why don't we find those and go get 'em?'

oh my gosh! i am getting a HOVA BATOR and a CHICKEN BRICK! this is amazing!

he also added, 'i'm not going to tell you how, but i knew you wanted an incubator!'

now, somebody better send me some eggs....

I personally like the idea of flooding the house with pics of what you want. Seriously. I mean EVERYWHERE. As a matter of fact, make them your screensaver and background for your CPU. But only if he's ever on the same cpu as you. I'd make the chicken brick and hovabator the background, and make the screensaver say Happy 37th B-day or something like that. My hubby is really good about taking hints, I didn't even know I was hinting one year, we were just looking through a magazine. Next thing I know he shows up with a beautiful gold and white gold necklace and about a dozen other things. I was amazed. It's always nice when you don't have to straight up say something, or even be blatantly obvious about it, but I would try the pics everywhere for a few days, then, if he's confused, hopefully he'll ask why they're up. If he doesn't ask, well, maybe he's gotten the hint. I'd ask after a week or so, Honey, have you noticed the cute bakeware and extremely essential incubator all over the house?

thanks! i am not one to even make a fuss over my b'day, even when i was a kid. i love doing everyone else's b'day. just hate everyone staring and watching me while they sing the b'day song. what up with me?

but, this year, i am going to celebrate. who's got eggs! and my meaties are perfect for baking in the dish! woo hoo! chickens and, uh, chickens!
